Overview
This feature turns every table into its own ordering point. A customer scans the QR code on their table, opens your menu on their phone, and sends the order straight to the register.
Worth underlining: the customer does not install anything. It all runs in their phone's browser. And the feature is available on the Free plan.
Adding Tables
Open Pengaturan → Meja (Settings → Tables) in the backoffice.
- Pick the store you are configuring.
- Add tables one by one. Use names that match the physical labels in your room, for example
Meja 1. - Repeat for every table.
Until at least one table exists, QR ordering stays switched off. The page tells you as much: you need to add a table first to enable dine-in ordering via QR.
Printing the QR Codes
Every table gets its own QR code, and that code is bound to that specific table — not to the store in general. That is how the cashier knows which table an order came from.
- In the table list, click the Lihat QR (view QR) icon on the table you want.
- The QR code appears along with the address it points to.
- Click Unduh QR (download QR) to save it as a PNG image. The filename follows the table's name automatically.
- Print that image and put it on the matching table.
Make sure each printed code goes on the right table. The QR for Table 3 stuck on Table 5 sends food to the wrong place, and the cause is very hard to guess from the cashier's side.
Laminate the codes or mount them in a table stand. Plain paper does not survive spilled drinks, and a torn QR code will not scan.
What the Customer Sees
After scanning, the customer lands directly on that table's ordering page.
- They are asked to sign in with Google, or to choose Lanjutkan sebagai Tamu (continue as guest) if they would rather not.
- Your menu appears, complete with categories and a search box.
- They pick products, set quantities, and add notes if needed.
- The Lihat Keranjang (view cart) button at the bottom takes them to the Keranjang (cart) page.
- From the cart they continue to Checkout.
The Customer's Checkout Page
At checkout, the customer sees a Ringkasan Pesanan (order summary) with the breakdown:
- Subtotal
- Biaya Layanan (service fee) with its percentage
- Pajak (tax) with its percentage
- Biaya Admin (admin fee)
- Pembulatan (rounding)
- Total
Below that is a Detail Pemesan (orderer details) section with an optional name field. Once they submit, the order reaches the cashier.
The Cashier Approves
In the Skoci POS app, the cashier opens the Order Meja (table orders) screen. Each incoming order appears as a card showing the table name, the customer's name if given, and the list of items with their variants and notes.
There are two choices:
- Terima (accept) — the order is processed.
- Tolak (reject) — the order is declined, for example because an item has run out.
When nothing is waiting, the screen shows Tidak ada order menunggu konfirmasi — no orders awaiting confirmation.
A shift must be open before the cashier can accept orders. If it is not, the message Buka shift terlebih dahulu sebelum menerima order appears. This is the most common reason customer orders appear to be "hanging" first thing in the morning.
On to the Kitchen
The moment the cashier taps Terima, the order is forwarded to the kitchen — there is no separate send button to press. The confirmation reads Order diterima dan dikirim ke dapur.
The ticket prints via whichever of the two setups you configured in the Daily Cashier Work guide: a kitchen printer attached to the register device, or a separate device in the kitchen running Mode Dapur.
What the Customer Sees Afterwards
After submitting, the customer is taken to a Status Pesanan (order status) page that refreshes itself.
- If the cashier accepts, the status moves to accepted.
- If the cashier rejects, it reads Ditolak oleh kasir. — rejected by the cashier.
Customers can also open their order history from the same table link.
